For a limited period, the windows of Dior’s flagship store on 30 Avenue Montaigne were home to enchanted creatures, each hand-made from recycled objects and fabrics left over from the House’s artisans. The intricacy of the creations was a testament to the artisans’ excellence and creativity – and the AR experience needed to highlight and elevate this.
Firstly, we headed to Paris to scan the iconic headquarters on Avenue Montaigne, as well as each hand-crafted creature. Then, our production team got to work on crafting a fairytale-like experience that brought each animal and fauna to life in their own way.
As the users scanned the building through the lens of their phones, they were able to witness the enchanting scene come to life – from deers and foxes roaming the streets to birds and butterflies taking flight from window sills. Tying the experience to the building itself meant that more people visited the street and the store to share their experiences.
